Your child's story
The Inicio Albums were originally created for children (in fact my own children) as a way to build greater self-awareness. They help children to come to know their strengths and what they are good at and enjoy. Done from a young age, and in an age-appropriate way, this self-awareness helps when making important choices as they leave school and enter adulthood. Reflection is a great habit to encourage. It is important for self-development, which is not just a skill, but an attitude to life.
The idea behind the Inicio Album is to start young and use a gradual and age-appropriate approach. Little by little, year-by-year, children reflect on who they are and who they want to be. They recognise their achievements (no matter how small) and the values that are meaningful for them. They capture the important relationships, be it family, friends, teachers or their heroes. Based on both reflection and intention-setting, your child will observe their own gradual growth and develop a positive mindset.
Using our memory prompts
Inicio Albums has both pre-printed sleeves where you or your child fill in answers to age-appropriate questions, or blank sleeves which are intended to be used with my Labels, Quotes and Memory prompts.
The pre-printed sleeves come with images for girls or boys with age-appropriate quotes and cover the school years (14 sleeves for ages 5 to 18) .
Whereas, using our proprietary prompts, you can cover any years from birth. You can also choose what you or your child would like to focus on. There are many great quotes to choose from, as well as prompts for relatives or family friends to write words of inspiration. Hopefully this will be something that inspires children when they look back on them in future years.
The sleeves and display pages are plastic coated, making them durable and able to be wiped clean.
During school term, simply place all the items you might want to keep into your complimentary storage box, then simply select those items you want to keep into the sleeves, and display any special photos or achievements on the large blank pages.
