Printed Pages
Our printed pages are designed to help you get the best from both worlds - digital and physical. With the crazy number of digital photos taken these days, we help you to be a little selective by asking you to upload 4 to 8 special images with accompanying captions and/or text. We work with you to do this during a 20 minute online session (zoom/skype/google meet).
Following this online session, we then place the images and edit the text to create either single or double-sided pages for you to proof before we have them printed and delivered to you.
Our post-screw albums have been especially designed to be flexible so that you can easily add, remove or change pages as you go. Please see the tips below before uploading your images and text.
Image Sizes
Our printed pages are 40cm x 28cm with a simple border and are printed on 200gsm. They can be single or double-sided. If you are not sure about the order you are capturing your story in, then single-sided may give you more flexibility to change their order as you go.
We need original size or high quality digital images, so aim to have images that are at least 2MB in size.
Other Tips
When writing your text, try to use a little humour where possible, and keep descriptions short and sweet. It is totally up to you as to how much you wish to write. If you prefer to capture a lot of history behind your story, then your page can emphasize the words more than the images.
Our albums are aimed at bringing out the positives in each of our stories. However, where there are parts of your story that may be more challenging, we use our on-line sessions to find meaningful ways to address these.
Finally, as an optional extra, we can arrange for a graphic artist to assist you with the design of your album cover or pages. This can make them quite special.
